McAdams Historical Society

The Society collects and preserves the history of the McAdam - McAdams family from its origin in Ayrshire and Galloway, Scotland. The sur-name McAdam and all other spelling versions of the name comes from the same Galloway and Ayrshire, Scotland McAdam family. DNA test have proven the tradition that Adam MacGregor changed his name to Adam McAdam. Test also confirmed that he was related to the Chief of the Clan.
